Note: these documents are study aids for my personal use. I decided to put them on the web because I believe that University level coursework is often intentionally murky, with professors sometimes indifferent to whether or not the student actually learns the material at hand. In the business world, coursework is often of an extremely practical nature and the instructor has a vested interest in your retention of the material. I don't really fault the professors of the university, including the instructors of either course (actually, both are quite good-write me if you want to know who they are) for this shortcoming. Likely, it is the result of academia's conditioned indifference to some of the practical applications of knowledge until a student enters graduate study (sometimes even not then). Be that as it may, I feel that by sharing these notes, I may be able to save someone a fair degree of drudgery. They are based on notes that I have taken and some independent reading. Some of the answers could be wrong, though. I may have been tired, stressed out, or just plain stupid when I answered some of the questions, so if you find an error, mail me. I will correct it if I find the time. They worked pretty well for me, but use at your own risk.
